2027 Call for Speakers

Share your knowledge and experience with Alaska’s safety and health community.

The AKGSHC is looking for engaging speakers to deliver practical, educational sessions that assist Alaska’s employers and frontline workers in fostering safer, healthier workplaces.

We welcome proposals covering a broad range of workplace safety and health topics, with an emphasis on issues relevant to Alaska’s industries and frontline workforce. From practical strategies and best practices to emerging challenges, new technologies, and lessons learned, we’re looking for sessions that provide meaningful, actionable value for attendees.

What We're Looking For

Strong proposals will provide relevant information, real-world experience, practical strategies, emerging ideas, or actionable tools that attendees can use in their workplaces. Presentations must be educational in nature and may not be used primarily to promote or sell a product or service.

To encourage a variety of perspectives and voices, preference may be given to speakers who have not presented at AKGSHC in recent years.

For Speakers

Selected speakers receive complimentary conference admission on the day of their presentation. Speaking opportunities are unpaid and do not include Mainstage presentations.

Application Deadline: November 30, 2026
