Call for Speakers

The 44th Annual AKGSHC theme is Driven by Safety,  Powered by People: Empowering Alaska’s Frontline Industries. Our theme places a strong emphasis on Alaskan Frontline Industries. We are seeking dynamic, knowledgeable speakers to share their expertise, experiences, and innovations in safety and health. If you specialize in safety practices, new-age innovations and everything in between- we invite you to submit a proposal and volunteer to speak at our event.

Each speaker will populate one of the following Program Tracks:

  • Oil and Gas
  • Construction
  • Healthcare
  • General Industry

Proposals are encouraged from industries represented in the Program Tracks, as well as Transportation, Maritime, Mining, Utilities, and related sectors.

*Each submission will be evaluated as the applications is received.

Submission Guidelines (1-Hour Presentation)

  • Contact Information
  • Speaker Bio (max 150 words)
  • Presentation Title
  • Brief Abstract (max 250 words)
  • Any audio-visual or special
  • Submission Deadline: March 6th, 2026 at 4PM AKST

Submissions will be reviewed on a rolling basis beginning January 2026. Early submission is encouraged as the Speakers Committee will begin reviewing proposals and placing speakers into available time slots as submissions are received

Selected speakers will be notified by March 13th, 2026. In support of varied perspectives, the selection process this year may lean toward speakers who have not recently presented.
